Palazzo Cardinal Cesi is located in Rome near: Palazzo Cardinal Cesi is only a few yards from St Peter's Square, on the magnificent Via della Conciliazione, in what used to be called the Spina dei Borghi (the area lying between the old Borgo and the new Borgo). The road was designed by the architects Piacentini and Spaccarelli, and completed in 1950 with the erection of two rows of obelisks serving as lamp-posts. Its name, suggested by the journalist Franco Franchi, is a reference to the historic peace agreement between the Church and State: the Lateran Pacts.

Just a stone's throw away from St.Peter's Basilica, are the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and Castle Sant'Angelo Fortress. Many of the city's other most celebrated sites and monuments, such as the imposing Pantheon, the enchanting Piazza Navona, the beautiful Piazza del Popolo and the famous Spanish Steps are only a 20 or 30 minute walk.

The nearby underground station, in addition to the many bus lines running through the area, provides quick and easy access to the rest of the city and all its most celebrated sights and monuments. In the immediate proximity of the property, you will find some of Rome's best shopping venues, excellent bars and restaurants.
